For Fall 2011, Fall In Love With Color
Who says fall is all about boring neutral colors? Just because the leaves may be starting to fall, there's no reason to send your colorful makeup packing. This season, pick from these pretty palettes for a trendy, updated look.
Grape, Plum, and Mulberry
If you haven't tried creating a purple smoky eye yet, there's no time like the present. It's fairly easy to pull off, looks great with virtually all eye colors and skin tones, and it can be done using any shade from a dark plum to a bright violet.

Olive, Moss, and Pea
Because green is a pretty unexpected color for fall, it really stands out. If you're feeling daring, try a bright, matte shadow to make your peepers pop. If you want to tone it down a bit, use a deep camo green with a little shimmer. Go green on your tips too!

Like purple, shades of blue also make for a stunning smoky eye look. First define eyes with navy liner, then mix and match a variety of indigo, cobalt, and powder blue shadows for a multidimensional effect. Top it all off with a couple coats of mascara, and you're all set to go. Oh, and don't forget to swipe the hue on your nails too.
