The first official portrait of the Duke and Duchess of York posing with their son Prince George has rocked the Internet—and for good reason.
Kate Middleton is wearing a fuchsia dress with a deep V-neck and flattering front knot from her favorite maternity brand of late, Seraphine Maternity. The dress retails at the very wallet-friendly price of $79. Not surprisingly, the dress, marked on the company's clothing site as “Worn By Kate Middleton,” has already sold out and is on backorder until September 16th. We would have loved to get our hands on the Jenny Packham dress the new mother presented her bundle of joy to the world in, but it was a one of a kind.
Though this is the most important photograph as far as history is concerned, it is hardly the first time the mother of England’s future king has been snapped in Seraphine. She was photographed wearing the brand en route to her parent’s home in Buckleberry and shopping on King’s Road, each time causing the dress she wore to sell out. “The Kate effect is huge and we have been enjoying 400% growth in sales since it became public that Kate brought Seraphine dresses back in April 2013,” Cecile Reinaud, the founder of Seraphine told Hello!.
We bet! What do you think of the Royal Family’s portrait? Fit for a king?
