Wellness, Relationships, Lifestyle Hacks
- Tessa has been an active freelance writer for ten years, and she has had articles selected for publication in Huffington Post, Grown and Flown, and Motherly.
- In the summer of 2022, Tessa was one of Static Media's first freelance writers for their relaunch of Glam.
- Having been a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and teacher for many years, Tessa is driven by the relationships in her life. She has found it easy to see that loving others is what makes life fulfilling. In addition, her focus on wellness and whole-food nutrition is inspired by another — often ignored — relationship with our own bodies. She writes to make connections with the fact that how we care for ourselves is at the core of how we care for others.
Experience
Tessa A. Adams is a deeply passionate and inspired writer, splitting her time as a freelancer and a high school English teacher. Tessa began writing non-fiction, fiction, poetry, and satirical pieces beginning in 2013. In 2018, she began her small business as a writing coach called A Writer Inside. Tessa's interests vary from being wildly passionate about women's rights to focusing on pieces centered around body positivity, relationship tips, and the importance of physical and mental wellness. Writing for Glam allows Tessa to marry her love of writing with her desire to connect with other humans who are courageously journeying through the human experience.
Education
Tessa Adams is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in secondary education, with a master's degree in reading from UNO and a creative writing endorsement from UNK. She is an adjunct creative writing professor for Metropolitan Community College in her high school.
